Over 300lb was caught by the 10 anglers over the course of the match and everyone enjoyed themselves. Well done lads, and well done to Malcolm Swindells for winning with 38lb.

As always, the draw is at 9am and fish from 10am - 4pm. Come down for hopefully a sunny Bank Holiday!

Also, our Thursday evening matches are due to start for the Summer on Thursday 17th May. The draw is at 5.30pm and the match is held from 6pm to 9pm. £8 for each angler. Come along and join us for both. We look forward to seeing you.

"Hi, I am writing to you to express my thanks for the day that I had with my family on Sunday. All of my family fish, my father, myself, my son and my recent fisherman, my little girl who is age 5. Due to work commitments it proves difficult for all of us get together to fish so when it does happen I hope for a great days fishing. Your venue provided that and more.

I had been recommended to try you by a friend. We arrived at 7am after scrapping the car of ice and looked for a suitable peg/s. We were all fishing by 8, and then within minutes our floats began to slip away from us. The quality and range of fish that we caught was exceptional and I can't put into words how impressed we were by the quality of the fish. We have been to many venues but we found yours to be one of the best, and with out any doubt will be back. My little girl was fascinated by the range of fish that she caught but coundn't understand why she kept catching the same fish. We figured these out to be a run of perch but because of the stripes in her eyes it was the same one. We also had the pleasure of a few crucians. Once again I would like to express my thanks for a days fishing and also making a wonderful family memory."

Malcolm was fishing in a small match where the top two caught over 100lb of fish!
