Yabba Dabba Do! Dabba breaks Big Beam record with 78lb 2oz!
Well done to Dabba Booth who has today regained the Big Beam record with a massive bag of 78lb 2oz.
Records must run in the family as Dabba has won the record from his son, Steve Booth.
If you fancy taking your chance to break the record, come and join us on Saturday or Tuesday for our open matches.

Saturday 2nd June - Match is being held on Big Beam
Apologies everyone, the Saturday match has been recorded incorrectly!
Just to confirm, the match on Saturday 2nd June is being held on Big Beam pool.
The Jubilee match on Tuesday 5th June is also being held on Big Beam Pool.

Evening matches start tomorrow (Thursday 17th May)!
Our Evening matches start for the Summer (yes we know we haven't seen much of a summer yet!) with a match on Far Hope Pool tomorrow evening (Thursday 17th May). The draw will take place at 5.30pm, with the match running from 6pm to 9pm.
If you fancy trying your luck come down and join us tomorrow.
300lb caught by 10 anglers in our Bank Holiday Monday match
It may have been cold, windy and nasty but 10 anglers braved the weather for our Bank Holiday Monday open match......and weren't they pleased that they did! When 4th place caught 34lb in weight and didn't get in the money, you know it's a good match!
Over 300lb was caught by the 10 anglers over the course of the match and everyone enjoyed themselves. Well done lads, and well done to Malcolm Swindells for winning with 38lb.
