FFF Open 29th June 2017 - Farm Pool 

Well done Roy Maddocks on winning the latest Thursday open match held on Farm Pool.
Fishing from peg number 8, Roy fished the pellet and paste on the pole to weigh in an impressive 56lb 13oz. Roy caught 35lb of decent carp with the rest of his weight being made up with roach, tench, F1's and crucians.
In second place, fishing from peg 18 was Ken Power. Ken fished the chopped worm and castor on the pole to weigh in with a mixed bag of 30lb 10oz.
In a very close run third place was Malc Swindels. Malc drew peg number 13 to weigh in with 30lb 2oz of mixed fish caught on the pellet on the pole.
Our next open match will be held this coming Saturday and will be held on Farm Pool with the draw at 9.00, see you there !!

FFF Open - 24th June - Far Hope

A big well done to Stef Brown on winning a competitive Saturday open match held on Far Hope.
Fish were more willing to feed in the cooler, duller weather with Stef weighing in with a winning weight of 49lb of quality carp.
Fishing from peg 10, Stef fished the pole, waggler and tip to catch from all over his swim using both pellet and paste.
In a very close second place, just 8oz behind with 48lb 8oz was Ciaran McAndrew. Ciaran drew peg 20 to catch most of his quality carp on the tip to the island using the meat.
In third place was Pete Conlon, fishing from peg 19with 32lb 1oz of quality carp. Like Ciaran, Pete caught mostly on the tip using the banded hard pellet.
Fourth place was taken by Tony Palios with 27lb from peg 14,followed by Lee Cooper with 26lb in fifth from peg number 8.
Our next open match will be held on Farm Pool this coming Thursday, plenty of spare pegs for what always turns out a competitive affair !!

FFF Open - 22nd June - Far Hope

A big well done to Wally Eastwood on winning a hugely competitive open match held on Farm Pool.
On a duller day than we have seen recently, Wally fished meat on the pole to weigh in an impressive 43lb 3oz mixed bag. Drawing peg 18, Wally took decent carp, F1's, crucians, tench, roach, skimmers and ide from off the island and then from the margins later on.
Second place was taken by Ciaran McAndrew, fishing from peg 10. Ciaran weighed in with a 41lb 15oz mixed bag taken on the pole and the paste.
Roy Maddocks was third fishing from peg number 6 with a mixed bag weighing 37lb 15oz. Roy caught close in fishing the pellet and paste on the pole.
Fourth place was taken by Ken power with 31lb 1oz followed by Malc Swindels in fifth with 29lb 5oz.
Our next open match will be held on Far Hope this coming Saturday, see you there !!

FFF Open - 17th June Far Hope

Anglers braved the blazing sun in the latest Saturday open match held on Far Hope.
A huge well done Carl Willshaw who managed to bag himself a winning weight of 35lb of quality carp taken from peg 7. With the surface black with basking fish Carl caught fishing the hard pellet on the waggler as well as on the method to the island.
Second place was taken by Ciaran McAndrew with 28lb 5oz of carp from peg 8 followed by Ian Shaw with 26lb 8oz from peg 17

FFF Open 15th June - Farm Pool

Well done to Dabba Booth on winning the latest Thursday open match held on Farm Pool.
Dabba weighed in with a respectable 43lb mixed bag from peg 6.
Second place went to Paul Walsh who fished from peg 8 to weigh in with 38lb,.
Third place was taken by Roy Maddocks with 33lb from peg 16.
