Fields Farm Fisheries - Latest News and Catches

If you have a photo of you and your catch at Field Farm Fisheries, send us an email with your photo attached or call us on 01270-753-074 - we'll post it on the honours board below!

It doesn't have to be a national record to qualify - we think all catches are good catches!

Paul's PB.

Hi Chris, had a great night on Friday and will definitely do it again. The biggest fish I caught was a 7lb 12 Common which is my personal best.  Also caught 4lb mirror and 3lb bream.  Here's a picture of me and the common caught at 10.30pm whilst you were enjoying your chinese.  Will see you next Sunday. Record bag caught on Big Beam - 37lb 1oz!

A record bag has been recorded on Big Beam this weekend. W Rooke from Altrincham District Angling Club caught a massive 37lb 1oz worth of fish on Sunday providing our record catch for the fishery and proving that the £30 for 30lb bag is definitely achievable. In a match that would have been very closely fought without his result (see the match results page for full details) Mr Rooke blew all his opponents away!

Well done and welcome to the record breakers club at Fields Farm Fishery. Now it's up to you all to beat him.

Chris.

PS With the bonus peg fund now reaching nearly £100 - the next winner of the FFF Open Match on Saturday 21st June could easily leave us with over £150 in his pocket.

Bigger payouts and £30 for first 30lb winning bag in FFF Open matches!

We have increased the money available for the winners of the Fields Farm Fisheries Open Matches!

Also Chris has set you all a challenge - for the first angler to achieve a 30lb winning bag in an Open Match - £30 will be added to their prize money! (Please note that there must be at least 10 participants in the match for the £30 prize to be on offer).

If you couple this with the fact that the bonus peg fund is now at nearly £60 - you could come away from a Fields Farm Fisheries Open Match with a well earned pocket of cash.

Join us next Saturday on Sandy Pool for the next Open Match. Call Chris today on 01270 753074 or e-mail us to let us know.

The Sun has brought along some big catches this weekend

Along with the sun and the warmer weather came the bigger catches that we have been waiting for.

We had already seen catches ranging from 15lb - 18lb in the week, but as you can see from the pictures below the bigger Carp have made an appearance this weekend.

Dave caught the 17lb 10oz Mirror pictured below on Saturday on Kingfisher. He also netted a 10lb Mirror as well. Paul celebrated his birthday in style with a 16lb 10oz Mirror, shortly followed by a 14lb 8oz Ghost Carp (see below) both caught on Kingfisher pool on Sunday.

Who is going to catch the first 20lb+ catch of the season?
