Lee Cooper triumphs in the Winter League

So, after being well off the pace at the half way stage, Lee Cooper  has managed to win four out of the last five matches to win the Fields Farm Fisheries Winter League 2011.

In the end, it was close run and Lee had the fortune to catch one fish on Saturday which resulted in him beating Geoff Stott  into a worthy second place. Malcolm Swindells came third, finishing off the list of winners for our winter league.

Well done to everyone who took part. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to seeing you again, later on this year! In the meantime, things are back to normal and the tomorrow's open match is being held on Sandy pool.
